Two great tastes together in the bay area

For those of you that have listened to the old podcasts, you have heard me sing the praises of Long John Silvers. They plan to build a LJS with a KFC in Mountain View less than a mile from my current home. This is currently under review by the Mountain View Zoning board but should get approval soon. In the meantime, I discovered that they opened up a KFC-LJS in South San Francisco off of El Camino. I made the venture there on Sunday. Man those chicken planks were good! It is also cool that they have it with KFC so if I wanted mashed potatoes I could had some but I saved my tastes for that delectable taste of chicken plank and fries. The hush puppies were not bad either. It is good to have a LJS nearby.
